How to play Block Drop
Game guide
Block Drop is a falling-block puzzle game. Shapes made of four squares drop from the top of the well one at a time, and your job is to fit them together into solid rows before the stack reaches the top.
The goal
Fill complete horizontal rows to clear them and score points. The game speeds up as your level rises, and it ends when a new block has no room to enter the well.
How to play
- Press Play. A block appears at the top and starts falling.
- Slide it left or right and rotate it so it fits the gaps in the stack below.
- Drop it into place. When a row is filled from wall to wall, it clears and everything above moves down.
- Check the Next box to plan ahead, and use Hold to save a block for later.
- Clear rows back to back to earn combo points and push your score higher.

Tips
- Keep the stack flat and low. Tall towers with holes underneath are hard to fix.
- Leave one column open at the side so a long straight piece can clear several rows at once.
- Hold is useful for saving the long piece until the perfect moment.
- Use hard drop once a block is lined up. It saves time and earns a few extra points.
