How to play Bobble Wildlands
Game guide
Bobble Wildlands is a 3D island adventure. Bobble has set up camp on a wild island with a cactus desert, a rumbling quarry, a monkey jungle, a lake and a real volcano. Explore, collect, sell what you find and finish all 30 quests.
The goal
Finish quests to earn stars. There are 30 quests, from catching your first fish to mining a lava gem and riding every zip line. The note at the top of the screen shows your next quest, and a gold arrow over Bobble's head points the way. Open the quest list to pick a different quest to follow.

On a phone or tablet, drag on the left side of the screen to walk and on the right side to look around. The purple button does the action shown on it, and the yellow button jumps.
Things to do
- Fishing. There are four fishing spots: the dock at Camp Lake, the desert oasis, the jungle river and the lava pool inside the volcano. Wait for the bobber to dip, tap fast to hook the fish, then hold to slide the green box right and let go to slide it left. Keep the fish inside the box until the bar fills. Each spot has its own fish, including one rare fish.
- Mining. Rumble Quarry is east of camp. Stone and copper are near the top, then silver, gold, and diamonds at the very bottom. Better pickaxes mine better rocks. Lava gems grow on the volcano.
- Cactus fruit. Pink fruit grows on some desert cactuses. Watch out, cactuses are spiky!
- Rabbits. Rabbits are faster than you, but they get tired and stop to rest. Keep chasing! After three rabbits, a golden rabbit appears in the desert. It is really fast, so try riding a buffalo or wearing faster boots.
- Buffalo. Give a buffalo a cactus fruit to ride it. Buffalo run fast and can smash the big boulders in the desert and meadow, which are full of loot.
- Monkeys. Shake banana trees in Monkey Jungle, then give one monkey three bananas. It becomes your buddy, follows you everywhere, grabs nearby things for you and adds 10 backpack spaces.
- Zip lines. Climb a zip line tower and ride the cable down. There are six, including a long one from the top of the volcano.
Earthquakes and the volcano
Every so often an earthquake shakes the island. Red circles appear on the ground where rocks are about to fall, so keep moving and stay out of them. After every earthquake, glowing quake crystals pop out of the ground. They sell for a lot, so grab them before they fade.
Mount Ember, the volcano south of the lake, erupts while you are on it. Dodge the lava bombs the same way. If something hits you, you drop a couple of items, but you can pick them right back up. Don't step in the lava!
Trading Post and upgrades
Your backpack only holds so much. Sell your fish, rocks and crystals at the Trading Post at camp, then spend your coins on upgrades: pickaxes (up to the Magma Pickaxe), fishing rods (the Heatproof Rod can fish in lava), bigger backpacks and faster boots (Rocket Boots even give you a double jump). "Sell haul" keeps your fruit and bananas for buffalo and monkeys.
Tips
- Fish at the lake first to earn coins for an Iron Pickaxe and a bigger backpack.
- Carry a cactus fruit or two so you can always hop on a buffalo.
- The map in the corner shows fishing spots in blue, zip line towers, the Trading Post in gold and quake crystals in light blue.
