How to play Build-a-House Tycoon
Game guide
Build-a-House Tycoon is an island building game. Gather wood and bricks, hire a tribe of workers, give each one a job and build your houses piece by piece, from a little bamboo hut all the way up to an island mansion and beyond.
The goal
Finish each house to earn a big coin reward and unlock the next, bigger house. There are eight houses to build, then endless Paradise Estates. The leaderboard counts how many houses you have built.
How to play
- Press Play. Tap the trees on the left for wood and the clay on the right for bricks.
- Tap the house to place the next piece. Each piece uses one wood or one brick and pays you coins.
- In the Tribe tab, hire new workers with your coins. Then use + and − to make them Lumberjacks (wood), Brickmakers (bricks) or Builders (they place pieces for you).
- Working uses up energy. When the energy bar runs out, the whole tribe stops to rest. Tap the campfire for +12 energy to keep them going.
- In the Tools tab, spend coins on upgrades: faster wood, bricks and building, stronger taps, a bigger campfire and a stew pot for more energy.

Tips
- Balance your tribe. If the builders run out of wood or bricks, they just wait, so add more lumberjacks or brickmakers.
- Bigger houses need more bricks, so move workers between jobs as you go.
- Keep an eye on the energy bar. Too many workers at once drains it fast, and a Big Campfire upgrade helps a lot.
- Strong Arms makes every tap count for more, which is great early on.
- Your island is saved on your device, so you can come back and keep building. Start over erases everything.
