Highlighter Word Hunt is a word search game for grades 3 to 8. Find every hidden word in the letter grid, with school topics and fun topics to choose from.
The goal
Find all the words in the list as fast as you can. Your best time is saved, and finishing quickly earns more stars.
How to play
- Pick your grade, from 3 to 8.
- Pick a School topic or a Fun topic.
- Look at the list of words to find.
- Drag across the letters to highlight a word. On a tablet you can tap the first letter, then the last.
- Find every word to finish the puzzle and see your time.

Tips
- Lower grades hide words left to right and top to bottom. Higher grades add diagonals and backwards words, and grade 8 uses all 8 directions.
- Look for unusual letters like Q, X or Z first. They are easy to spot.
- Each hint adds 10 seconds to your time, so use them only when stuck.
- Press New puzzle for a fresh grid on the same topic.
